At CONstruct, you learn by doing!
Not just a convention, CONstruct is a materials and sculpting expo by today’s experts, planned for tomorrow’s artists. The on-site venue at The Compleat Sculptor provides the best possible environment to hobnob with professional FX artists.
Now in our fourth year, we're proud to include demonstrations, workshops, and panels--along with ample opportunity to meet with our stellar guests.
We're a teaching event. Instead of just talking about the materials, you will have the opportunity to sign up for workshops where you can dive right in and sling some silicone (or resin... or epoxy!). Hands-on workshops require a materials fee that is in addition to your daily pass, and require additional signups. Space is limited for these exclusive events.
Once the tickets are gone--they’re gone. In order to keep everyone happy, and our panels and demos uncrowded, we limiting space to a daily maximum of 200 tickets. We hope you can be one of them!
PROGRAMMING
We host three different kinds of events:
PANELS: 1 hour events run by one or a group of guests, teaching or lecturing on a specific event;
HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS: While these classes require an additional materials and teaching fee, you will have one-on-one time with one of our talented instructors in a classroom setting;
HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS: While these classes require an additional materials and teaching fee, you will have one-on-one time with one of our talented instructors in a classroom setting;
DEMOS: Live makeup or sculpting demonstrations by a makeup artist, sometimes on a live model.
